Reporting into the HR Director, the OH&S Manager is a senior member of the HR team. This position is a Maternity Leave contract running till June 2013.
We are looking for a qualified Occupational Health & Safety Manager with previous experience working in a hospital environment or healthcare setting. This is a challenging position managing the OH&S function in a large specialist hospital.
Your responsibilities will include managing the OH&S at this site; ensuring all staff and students are inducted; scheduling of the management plan for all OH&S activities; prepare and participate in the Accreditation and be an active member of the Biosafety Committee.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety

Working knowledge of OH&S legislation

Ability to develop and successfully work with key internal stakeholders and external agencies such as Worksafe Victoria

Proven experience working at a Senior level

The ability to hit the ground running
