Michael Dimopoulos - Managing Director

Recruitment Academy’s founder and Managing Director, Michael Dimopoulos’ extensive experience and reputation are the foundation of the company. With over 10 years of industry experience in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK his career is more than a mere success story; it is a reflection of dedication and commitment to the industry. As the founder and managing director since May 2006, Michael has successfully positioned Recruitment Academy as the first Induction, Training and Placement institution of its kind in Australia. This placed Recruitment Academy in a distinctive position within the market place; offering a unique service to the recruitment industry – and creating recruitment success stories.

Michael’s extensive experience in strategic development, innovation, passion and an extraordinary vision has been the foundation of his success. As a result, his highly successful Recruitment Academy is not only on the global radar, but to his credit he is the creator of an industry first, Recruit Me Now.

Once again Michael identified another gap within the Industry and brought to life Recruit Me Now. The first exclusive Recruitment Industry job and candidate board including an on-line networking forum where recruiters can communicate with other recruitment professionals. Recruit Me Now will provide the industry with access to a mixture of jobs and a pool of experienced recruitment industry candidates and “desk ready e-Graduates” specialist candidates interested in entering the Recruitment Industry within Australia, New Zealand and overseas.

Candidates will be able to apply directly to recruitment job ads placed by agencies and agencies now seeking recruitment professionals will have the ability to apply directly to candidate on-line profiles ads.

Both candidates and advertisers will have access to Recruit Me Now’s unique tools and resources in order to promote themselves and communicate effectively and efficiently, including employer branding opportunities and candidate self-promotional tools, video technology such as live video interviews, video mail and video conferencing and conducting or participating in webinars. Users will be able to download resumes, psychometric reports, view live interview/introduction footage, coordinate interview times and make offers to candidates, utilising all the advertiser and candidate features of this site.

This innovation was not only an industry first but will be far more effective than current industry sourcing processes and pose less risk to both the candidates and clients. Apart from increasing the caliber of candidates within the Recruitment Industry, recruitment agencies will have the choice to select candidates directly from Recruit Me Now at a third of the costs of current industry sourcing arrangements.

Julie Kuras - Manager of Business Development

Julie Kuras is Recruitment Academy's Manager of Business Development focusing on Recruitment Academy and Recruitment Me Now's Products and Services.

Julie has a Bachelor of Business and Economics and began her career in commerce as an accountant with extensive experience in chartered accounting, financial services, shipping and the industrial sector. After completing her CPA qualifications, Julie successfully changed careers into the exciting, rewarding and dynamic Recruitment industry.

Within her nine years experience within the Recruitment Industry, Julie has had experience a diverse range of roles from a consultant, senior consultant and divisional manager to running a successful Recruitment to Recruitment desk within a Boutique to Global Recruitment Firms. As a result Julie has developed a reputable reputation as an industry specialist and is well equipped to drive the division for Recruitment Academy & Recruit Me Now.

 

 


Ronel Fourie - Image Consultant

Ronel Fourie is a professional image consultant, providing both men and women with effective personal appearance solutions for their social and professional lives. She also provides consultation to businesses regarding dress code policies and staff appearance and is a popular keynote speaker and workshop presenter. Known for her ability to define and refine her clients’ image and style through wardrobe, grooming and etiquette, she has over 9 years experience in the fashion and beauty industry.

Ronel completed a Bachelor degree in Economics and Law in South Africa, before moving to Australia in 1997. Working initially in advertising and distribution, she went on to work as a consultant manager with a ladies fashion designer before formally training as an image consultant and establishing Image Impact Group.

Specialising in image creation and image management, Ronel is committed to enhancing her clients’ personal and professional presence. Her friendly, practical approach incorporates the personality, lifestyle and budget of clients whether assisting them with comprehensive makeovers or providing once off advice. She is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International.

Michael Scott -Editor and Designer

Michael Scott works closely with Recruit Me Now as an associate editor and designer. Michael began his career in education, though over the years he has lent his hand to a broad range of jobs from developing education policy in Aboriginal communities in the Australian desert to designing print media and promotional emails for an art gallery in southern Spain. After completing a graduate diploma in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at the University of Melbourne in 2004, Michael moved into professional writing and freelance design.

In addition to his work through Recruit Me Now, Michael also writes for a leading Melbourne community newspaper and various arts websites in Australia and the U.K.

Litsa Ioannou – Office Manager, Melbourne

Litsa ensures objectives and key performance indicators are achieved, and where possible exceeded. She works closely with our consultants to oversee day-to-day service delivery levels, as well as relationship building with client line managers to ensure maximum communication and account knowledge. Litsa supports consultants in an administrative sense, freeing them up to focus their attention more on sourcing and scoping a steady flow of high-calibre candidates, visiting client sites and conducting interviews.
